Tell us about your company:
Bahamii’s Date & Almond Bars use 7 or less superfood ingredients – with dates as the #1 ingredient – resulting in a fresh and soft texture that doesn’t get stuck in your teeth and is naturally sweet with no added sugar and no preservatives.
What inspired you to start your business?
Brothers Noah, Aaron, and Jonah were inspired by their great grandmother, who enjoyed dates as a healthy snack to manage her dietary restrictions and sweet tooth. Bahamii Bars are crafted from superfoods to offer a convenient, guilt-free treat that’s both delicious and nutritious.
What are your proudest achievements so far?
Bahamii’s proudest achievement so far is launching in over 100 Kroger stores in Dallas and expanding access to healthy snacks while maintaining strong direct-to-consumer sales on Amazon and our website. Additionally, we launched the Youth Venture Program, empowering young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. These milestones reflect our mission to make healthy eating accessible and inspire the next generation of innovators.
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs:
My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple: focus is everything. The key to success is staying fully committed to your vision without getting distracted by noise or setbacks. But focus alone isn’t enough. Who you surround yourself with matters just as much. Without the right team, even the best ideas and strongest determination can fall short. Build a team that shares your vision, and together, you’ll turn it into reality.
Please share a memory or thought about your alma mater:
One of my most impactful memories of USC dates back to 2015, when I took an entrepreneurship class as a high schooler with Professor Albert Napoli. It was my first experience in a university classroom, and it opened my eyes to the world of business and entrepreneurship. That class not only inspired me but also gave me foundational knowledge that later helped me start Bahamii. It was one of my first real steps toward becoming an entrepreneur, and it made USC feel like home long before I officially became a student.
