| Inspiro Tequila is a clean, additive-free tequila brand that is crafted with discerning female consumers in mind. We not only offer impeccable, meticulously crafted tequilas, but we are also providing more female perspectives to the spirits industry by being distilled, owned and led by women. |
| What inspired you to start your business? |
| I started drinking tequila years ago when I was looking for a “better-for-you” adult beverage. I discovered that all of the brands I was drinking contained undisclosed additives like sweeteners, coloring and glycerin. I searched for an additive-free brand that had a taste, look and messaging that resonated with me and thoughtful female consumers like me. That perfect tequila didn’t exist, so I decided to create one. I founded Inspiro Tequila in February of 2020. |
| What are your proudest achievements so far? |
| I’m very proud of our great retail placements. In Illinois we’re in Binnny’s, Jewel/Osco and Whole Foods. We also just launched in Whole Foods, California and Illinois which is really exciting. |
| What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs: |
| First you need to do your due diligence. Learn as much as possible about all aspects on your industry and running a business. It’s key to be well prepared. Secondly, build a supportive community. It’s a lonely journey and you need to have people to lean on. I also learn so much from other founders. |
