Meet Penn State alum Julianne Gardner, Founder of Bottimals

Tell us about your company:
At Bottimals™, we believe feeding your baby should feel calming and connected. Our products are thoughtfully designed to bring familiarity and comfort to bottle-feeding moments. Research shows that a mom’s scent can play a role in helping infants feel soothed and supported. Backed by science, mom’s scent is proven to soothe infants, encourage sucking reflexes, and make feeding easier—helping your baby feel relaxed, comfortable, and ready to take the bottle. While every baby is different, Bottimals aims to offer families an added layer of comfort during the breast-to-bottle transition.
What inspired you to start your business?
My son refused to take the bottle for nearly the first year of his life!
What are your proudest achievements so far?
Our customer reviews speak for themselves. The bottle-lovey is supporting families during one of the most challenging stages of early feeding—transitioning from breast to bottle. Founder Julianne Gardner has earned first-place honors in two local pitch competitions and has been featured on 6abc News Philadelphia, along with multiple organic features in newspapers and other media outlets.
