Tell us about your company:
We are a FAR-Infrared yoga and fitness studio empowering our community to discover movement, mindfulness, & gratitude. With over 24 different formats to choose from we always have a class for you to join. Far infrared is a type of radiant heat that is invisible to the naked eye. Unlike the heat from a conventional heater, which warms the air around you, far infrared heat penetrates deeper into your body’s tissues. This deep warmth creates a soothing and therapeutic experience that complements your yoga practice beautifully.
What inspired you to start your business?
Yoga has been a passion and a practice for as long as I can remember. I got certified for myself and then it quickly led to teaching, leading international retreats, and ultimately wanting a healing house of my own. It was only natural when the opportunity came to own my own and have the LA area be ours was a true gift. I think it’s because I just feel so good fostering a healing place and to promote wellness in all aspects.
What are your proudest achievements so far?
Besides my amazing two kiddos, it would be my ability to break the mold and create business with meaningful relationships creating a referral source that is unbreakable. AKA creating my supportive community.
What advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs:
Do it! Always, always, jump. If you are having a feeling that work is an opportunity instead of a chore – that’s when you know you have hit the jackpot. Success should only create joy for you, a gift and a blessing really.
Please share a memory or thought about your alma mater:
Attending UCSB was more than just about academics; it was an amazing experience that shaped who I am today. Coming to UCSB was my first experience being away from my grandparents, who raised me, and it was both liberating and challenging. Being blessed with many sunsets at Goleta Beach nourished my soul daily, reminding me of the beauty of independence. UCSB taught me the importance of connections, resilience, and pursuing my passions. I am grateful for the friendships that have lasted beyond graduation and the unforgettable experiences that will always hold a special place in my heart. I am still besties with 5 of my freshman friends while in FT. Good times for sure!!
