Meet Michigan State alum: Jack Joseph, Co-Founder of RMBR

Tell us about your company:
RMBR (pronounced “remember”) is a Chicago-based functional beverage company reimagining the role of kombucha in everyday life. We create crushable, sparkling probiotic teas designed for modern rituals – moments of daily unwind, social connection, and intentional living. While traditional kombucha can be overly acidic and polarizing, RMBR takes a flavor-first approach, making products that even kombucha skeptics genuinely enjoy. Our beverages are brewed with organic green tea, live probiotics, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients to support gut health while maintaining low sugar and a clean, refreshing taste. RMBR is positioned as a better-for-you alternative to alcohol and sugary drinks, fitting naturally into late-afternoon resets, social gatherings, and everyday routines. Founded in Chicago, RMBR grew from farmers markets and local pop-ups into nearly 1,000 retail doors nationwide, including leading natural and conventional grocery partners. The brand is built on the belief that what we drink should enhance how we feel and how we connect with others. Our mission is to create beverages that are shockingly delicious, consistent, and accessible – helping people form healthier habits without sacrificing flavor or experience. Every can of RMBR is designed to support our guiding ethos: Real Memories, Better Rituals.
