| Ancient Sun sells balanced beverages called date shakes at natural food retailers. They are made with simple ingredients: dates, nuts, and spices. Each of the three flavors is inspired from a different region of the world. |
| What inspired you to start your business? |
| I’ve always had an interest in ‘going back to the basics’. This is the inspiration behind Ancient Sun, returning to simple recipes found in ancient food tradition. I spent over a year researching and developing the three multiculturally inspired flavors we have now. |

| Getting into our first retailer, the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-Op. |
